The Nike Mind 001 is the Swoosh’s biggest success story of 2026, and it’s not particularly close. Every release has become a sell-out event, and there’s something perfectly on-key about the brand’s most hyped new model being rooted in innovation, a characteristic that will ultimately right the ship for Nike with enough repetition.
Next up for the Cybertruck-looking slip-on is a soft “Cucumber Calm” colorway for the summer months. The entire upper is draped in the pastel green titular hue, complemented by chrome Swooshes and Barely Volt across the 22 foam spheres that appear within the bottom of each shoe.
Nike said in its most recent earnings report that it wants to capitalize on the Mind 001’s virality with more availability, but every release thus far has sold out rather quickly.
