Deion Sanders’ Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 has returned for another series of cleat colorways, this time starting with a Colorado Buffaloes PE that’s ready to hit the fields of Boulder.
The black patent leather covers the entirety of the upper, allowing this football cleat to have a crispier look than your standard issue footwear. Real Colorado University Gold is placed down the quarter window and front row of spikes, bringing the design home without saying too much.
Branded with “CU” on the heel of the shoe, there’s little doubt this Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 colorway will be worn by the Buffaloes football team. No word on retail release, but we have no announced date, price, or if it will even be available for purchase.
Beyond being another PE release, Sanders history with the Diamond Turf pack makes these colorways special. The shoe has been synonymous with his Nike career for years, and revisiting the model through Colorado’s current football culture means more than another lame PE.
Multiple colorways of the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 were also revealed. With multiple player exclusives on display, it really feels like Nike has a lot of these gems in the vault. For now, we’ll hype this Colorado inspired colorway, even if they’ll never hit the shelves.
