The cat’s out of the bag. Part of a series of country-specific Nike Cryoshot collaborations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nike is partnering with the Virgil Abloh Archive on a collection for the United States men’s national team. Nike Sportswear announced the star-studded link-up today, debuting a cartoon-style teaser featuring Mia Hamm and Travis Scott.
We’ve actually known that a Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Cryoshot has been in the works for a while, first shown at the Virgil Abloh: The Codes exhibit in Paris last year. Nike’s latest announcement therefore confirms the project’s place in the brand’s larger World Cup campaign rather than serving as a first reveal. The previewed version features a simple white leather upper, though the public release could look different.

The announcement also confirms collaborative kits, one of which was actually worn by LeBron James in Nike’s initial polaroid teaser. Whether Mia Hamm and Travis Scott play a role beyond the teaser remains to be seen, but we’re excited to learn more.
The Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Football “USA” collection drops Summer 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, with early access available through the Virgil Abloh Archive and USMNT channels. We’ll circle back as soon as there’s more to share.
