The Virgil Abloh Archive and Nike are building toward a major 2026 FIFA World Cup moment, and Travis Scott is now part of the rollout.
Nike Sportswear teased the upcoming project with a cartoon-style clip featuring Travis Scott and soccer legend Mia Hamm. The preview points to a Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Football “USA” collection tied to the United States men’s national team.
The partnership is expected to include the Nike Cryoshot, a football-inspired silhouette that has already been connected to Abloh’s archive. Early looks at the shoe surfaced during the Virgil Abloh: The Codes exhibit in Paris, where a white leather version was shown. However, Nike’s teaser now places the project inside a larger World Cup-focused campaign.

The collection will also include collaborative apparel. One of the kits was previously spotted on LeBron James in Nike’s early polaroid-style teaser, adding another major name to the story.
Travis Scott and Mia Hamm’s roles beyond the teaser remain unclear for now. Still, their appearance gives the campaign a strong mix of music, sport, and Nike history.
The Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Football “USA” Collection is expected to release in Summer 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Early access will also be available through the Virgil Abloh Archive and USMNT channels.
