New Balance continues to expand its Made in UK series with another muted-toned 991v2 arriving for Summer 2026. Slated to release July through NewBalance.com and select retailers, the “Sea Glass” 991v2 will retail for $270.
A light green suede covers the toe, overlays, side panels and heel of the shoe. It brightens the overall aesthetic without making this a neon summer drop. Green-gray mesh is used to contrast the upper through the toe box, collar and midfoot while maintaining the layered runner construction of the 991v2.
Cream accents are used on the midsole to offset the cool-toned upper. Grey is used to highlight the eyelets, collar, heel tab, tongue labels, and double-“N” logos, while navy adds the biggest pop of contrast to the ABZORB SBS pods and sections of the outsole.
Speaking of the outsole, that sports a similar technical aesthetic with black rubber, gray traction pieces, cream accents and navy blocking on the undersides. “991” embroidery is found on the lateral side of the heel, “v2” branding is located on the heel tab and lace badge, while Made in England tags wrap up the tongue presentation.
The New Balance 991v2 “Sea Glass” is an upscale suede-and-mesh runner with a subdued green color scheme built around a silhouette and cushioning formula we already know works.
