Japan’s Forget-Me-Nots Joins The World Cup Party With Nike Total 90 Shox Magia Collab

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

It’s rare for a brand to check off its first Nike Inc. collab with Jordan Brand rather than the Swoosh proper, but Japanese concept store Forget-me-nots pulled off that feat with a tasteful Air Ship collab in 2023, defined by roughened edges and a restrained hand. Three years later, the other half of the puzzle is finally complete.

Forget-me-nots is setting its refined eye on the Nike Total 90 Shox Magia ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adding two new options to an already whopping slate of soccer-inspired footwear out of Beaverton. A hybrid of the Total 90 III soccer shoe and the Shox running/basketball lines, the Shox Magia sits quite naturally alongside the many subversive models Forget-me-nots currently has on offer.

No images have surfaced as of this writing, but Sneaker News can confirm two colorways: “Green Gusto/Black/Metallic Silver” and “Shy Pink/University Red/Black/Metallic Silver.” The color blocking, materials, and any special detailing remain a mystery for now.

The Forget-me-nots x Nike Total 90 Shox Magia has been teased for a June 13th release by the boutique on social media. We’ll circle back as soon as official images surface.
