Eric “Shake” James is putting Milwaukee back on an adidas release, this time with the Forum taking the spotlight. The CLICKS and SNEEX founder has linked again with adidas, Summerfest, and Visit Milwaukee for the Shake x adidas Forum Low “What The Milwaukee”.
“What The Milwaukee” is the idea behind the mismatched pair. Instead of building around one simple color story, the shoe pulls from different parts of the city — neighborhoods, food, wildlife, local history, and community spaces that have shaped Milwaukee’s identity. Creative director Alexander John worked with Shake on the project, helping turn those references into a layered design rather than a standard hometown colorway.
Past Milwaukee-themed adidas collaborations from Shake also get subtle nods throughout the shoe. The tongue branding ties the project directly to Summerfest, held every summer in Downtown Milwaukee, and Visit Milwaukee, the city’s official tourism marketing organization.
Each pair will include tickets to Summerfest 2026, along with an insert that explains the references used across the design. That detail matters here, since the shoe is built around storytelling as much as footwear.
Shake’s ongoing adidas Cornerstone Community work will also be part of the rollout. A youth sneaker fair and customization workshop for local students opens launch week on June 4th. SNEEX will host the exclusive in-store release on June 6th, with community programming and design-focused storytelling built around the shoe.
Summerfest Opening Day on June 19th will bring a wider W.T.M. Forum release through an adidas and SNEEX on-site activation. The event will include exclusive access, giveaways, and more programming tied to the project. One day later, a Juneteenth festival will close the celebration with 500 bikes and helmets given away, plus music, food, family programming, and community initiatives.
The Shake x adidas Forum Low “What The Milwaukee” releases June 6, 2026 exclusively at SNEEX, followed by a wider drop on June 19th during Summerfest Opening Day.
