Ducks Of A Feather is traveling abroad for their next collaboration with Nike, teaming up with Flight Club for a highly exclusive Air Max 1 drop inspired by Tokyo.
The DOAF x Flight Club x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo,” dropping on June 28th, is deeply meaningful, honoring Nike’s significant ties to Japan and one of its most celebrated shoe designs. Even though the shoe is available globally, its special launch at Flight Club Tokyo happens to fall right alongside the Tokyo Oregon Football Showcase, brought to you by Flight Club. During the event, Head Coach of Oregon Football Dan Lanning and a few select Ducks players will hit the field for a live showcase with Japanese athletes.
Beyond the main game events, Flight Club Tokyo is putting on a special Oregon-themed preview showcasing the university’s sneaker history through a lineup of its Player Exclusives. Attendees will get an exclusive sneak peek at sneakers connected to Tinker Hatfield and other pivotal figures from Nike’s Oregon lineage.
Flight Club Tokyo will continue the celebration by hosting a meet- greet with Tinker Hatfield on June 26th. Ducks Of A Feather and Flight Club will be in attendance to give fans an opportunity to meet the footwear legend. The collaboration between DOAF and Flight Club is already one to remember for Nike fans, but the chance to meet Tinker Hatfield takes it to the next level.
Registration for the DOAF x Flight Club x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo” will open on June 23rd and run through June 26th. A worldwide total of 300 pairs will be available.
