Nike A’One “Topaz Gold” HF7001-700

The debut of the Nike A’One is truly going swimmingly, nearing sellouts for its first four colorways and not letting off the gas any as it looks to its next steps. While many of those introductory colorways came clad in Wilson’s favored pink, it’s time to buck expectations, as the Nike A’One now shifts into “Topaz Gold.”

Almost an exact palette swap of the previous “Ghost” and “Pink A’ura,” the gradient waves that take up the forefoot remain in place, giving way to pure white as they shift away from the dominant goldenrod tonality that takes up most of the shoe’s real estate. Golden synthetics embedded in the sole, with the Swooshes at quarter, and the suite of A’ja branding mark this do-up as a cut above, aligning well with the hardware that the two-time champ has been magnetic towards throughout her career.

While the initial launch for the shoe was understandably meted and considered, this adds to a stacked slate of releases on deck in the coming months, already fleshed out with the “Her Time To Shine,” “Unapologetic,” and a range of “Team Bank” editions.

The Nike A’One “Topaz Gold” has only surfaced in kids’ sizing at the time of publication, but adult sizing will likely accompany this drop sometime this Fall.
