The title “PE” was once one that drove chills up the spine of collectors. Perhaps the opposite was true if you appreciated the hunt and price premium involved with grabbing highly limited product, but either way, brands have grown increasingly willing to bring colorways crafted for their athletes to wider audiences.
Nike’s “Peach Jam” slate this year is proof of that, as initially, images of peachy colorways surrounding the varsity tournament elicited those same groans as we heard the GT Cut 1 and GT Future crafted for the occasion would remain exclusive. However, late August dropped off the former, and now we’re seeing official images of the later; tacit confirmation that you the average sneakerhead will, in fact, be able to grab their own pair. Compared to what we first saw in May, the same harsh gradient between rosy pink and orange/yellow in the front/heel remains, but this public version does distinguish itself with translucent soles (the tourney-worn ones had solid platforms, instead).
We don’t have firm release info for the Nike GT Future “Peach Jam” / “Unseen Hours” just yet, but we can confirm a $210 retail price. Catch official images below; trust we’ll keep this page and our Sneaker Release Dates hub up to date with the latest as it comes.
