Leo Baker’s signature skate shoe is back with a clean “Black Gum” colorway and an edgy combination of style and function.
The upper combines black suede overlays, perforated leather toe box, and subtle panel texturing. White contrast stitching highlights each section, while a white leather Swoosh adds a crisp pop of color. Branding details on the tongue and insole nod to Baker’s influence on the Nike SB team.
The gum rubber outsole infuses a classic skate vibe with improved traction. The cutout forefoot allows for flex and control. Inside is a full-length Nike React midsole for soft landings and extended comfort during long skate sessions.
The Nike SB React Leo “Black Gum” will be available Summer 2025 for $95. It will launch at select skate shops and online at Nike.com.
First released in 2023, the React Leo is already finding a home as a core silhouette in the Nike SB collection. This new black and gum variation dials up the classic aesthetic, while the performance features remain intact.
