Update (8/23/26): Here is a first look at the “Halloween” Air Jordan 5. Initially scheduled to launch on October 24th, the new date is October 17th.
Jordan Brand will debut various pairs to celebrate Holidays throughout 2026, and in the past, we have seen something drop for Halloween. In October, we will see the “Halloween” Air Jordan 5 arrive at retailers. This pair is highlighted with mostly Black with Picante Red and Green accents.
This Air Jordan 5 will feature shades traditionally associated with Halloween. As you can see, we have Black used across most of the upper, which extends across the mesh netting. Furthermore, the same treatment is given to the tongue and laces. The shoes will come in Picante Red, which appears on the flames on the midsole. The Air unit is Blacked out, and “23” is outlined in Green on the lateral side. Green covers the outsole that glows in the dark, and the Nike Air on the heels. You can also expect the stitching to glow. Lastly, the inside of the tongues feature XX stiching, a nod to Frankenstein.

Bottom Line
I think this pair has a lot of potential. What I initially saw looked good, but things can always change. I do hope that it comes with more spooky details, since Halloween is my favorite time of year. What I am surprised about is the use of Nike Air. I know we are seeing it more on non-original colorways, but for the Holiday season, it seems every pair will have it.
