A model that most people love is the Air Jordan 8, and after the brand took a hiatus regarding releases, we can expect to see more color options arrive in 2026. Following some OG colorways, the brand will launch the “Chrome” Air Jordan 8 again in Fall 2026. A fan favorite due to its simple color blocking, it will be available just in time for the seasonal change.
Although the “Chrome” Jordan 8 is not an original colorway, it was released in the early 2000s, which will evoke a nostalgic feel in people. We saw the first pair arrive at retailers in 2003, and although it wasn’t an instant hit, it gave those who wanted them a chance to purchase them well after its debut. Fast forward to 2015, and the brand relaunched the Chrome 8s. This time around, it had a bit more hype. What we have noticed is that people are asking for a return of this pair, and Jordan Brand may have taken note of it.
Featuring the same look, this Air Jordan 8 features a Black and Chrome color scheme. The only difference between the 2026 pair and the original is that the shape has been updated to reflect the original mold. As for the look, it features Black nubuck across the upper that runs across the signature cross straps. In addition, we have perforations on the panels. Highlighting the sneakers are Chrome accents on the strap buckle and midsole. Shades of Grey fill in the chenille tongue patch logo and mudguard. The look is completed with a mostly Black rubber outsole.
