Jordan Brand is reaching back into the archives for another Air Jordan 8 with an NBA connection. Chris Paul received several Air Jordan Player Exclusives during his time with the Hornets, including an Air Jordan 8 made for the 2008-09 season. That pair featured a Black nubuck upper with Hornets Teal and Marigold accents. A similar pair will debut in 2027.
This Air Jordan 8 features a Black, New Emerald, and Tour Yellow color scheme. The upcoming release takes inspiration from that PE rather than simply recreating a standard Air Jordan 8 colorway.
Black covers most of the upper, giving the shoe a familiar look similar to the original Player Exclusive. Hornets-inspired Green and Yellow accents then add contrast around the midsole, heel, straps, and branding.
