Drake’s recent Nike ad featured the rapper claiming that the only people waiting on Anthony Edwards’ shoes were “four kids in Minnesota.” Ant and adidas took that personally. The increasingly rap battle-esque back-and-forth between Edwards and his NBA contemporaries continues with a new rebuttal, this one doubling as an announcement that Ant is the new face of betting platform PrizePicks.
The ad, which you can watch in full below, opens with Ant’s entourage unloading a wooden crate marked “Fragile: Return To Toronto” from a truck, only to replace it with a purple adidas-branded box. In other words, out with Drake and the Nike KD 19, in with the AE3, all of which makes more sense once you’ve seen Drake’s original ad. The crew eventually makes its way to Minnesota with the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 in tow, where they’re greeted by considerably more than four people hoping to get their hands on a pair.
The commercial comes from PrizePicks rather than adidas, but the tone is unmistakably in line with what’s defined Edwards’ signature line from the start. Ant and adidas have spent years poking at the industry’s biggest names, taking not-so-subtle shots at LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and several other signature athletes across multiple brands.
If you’re just here for the kicks, the next AE3 colorway is the Anthony Edwards 3 “Stone Onix” dropping October 8th. Our Sneaker Release Dates hub has more colorways landing Fall/Winter 2026 and beyond.
