Not every great retro needs to be a grail. The Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” is returning in 2026, and we finally have a first actual look at the sneaker since news of its comeback first surfaced in 2025.
Originally released in 2005, the “Forest Green” has never occupied the upper echelon of coveted Air Jordans. It wasn’t an instant classic, nor is it a shoe that regularly appears on “best of” lists. But more than two decades later, that might be exactly what makes its return so appealing.
The design itself is wonderfully straightforward as white leather covers the familiar Ferrari-inspired Air Jordan 14 construction and the attractive Forest Green accents appear across the midsole, heel, branding, and other select details. There’s no elaborate storytelling or particularly adventurous color blocking; it’s just a clean, wearable Air Jordan from another era.
And somewhere along the way, that simplicity began working in its favor. The “Forest Green” gradually developed a following during the late 2010s and early 2020s as sneaker tastes increasingly made room for understated, elegant Jordan colorways that had previously been overshadowed by more famous originals.
That makes this the best kind of nostalgia because the Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” doesn’t transport you back because of some legendary Michael Jordan moment or an astronomical resale price. It simply looks like 2005. For anyone who remembers seeing pairs like these sitting on shelves or appearing in Eastbay catalogs, that’s more than enough reason to welcome them back.
The Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” is currently expected to release on October 31st, 2026 in adult and GS sizes, so stay tuned for official images and additional release details. More to come on our Jordan Release Dates page.
