It may get lost in the shuffle of the various priorities for Jordan Brand this year, but don’t forget: the Air Jordan 6 is celebrating a birthday. With likely its most important collab coming off the board in the AWAKE Jordan 6 and one of two mega-GRs checked off in the Jordan 6 “Salesman,” the Jumpman has turned to more experimental fare in the spaces between, including the Air Jordan 6 Low “Black/Desert Berry.”
Recall that the “Blackout” and “China Rose” marked the last two appearances of this chopped-down silhouette, delivering pony hair uppers and a floral take on “Infrared,” respectively. In terms of palette and materiality, this colorway carries the torch from both. Metallic pink finishes on the “23” panels pair with nocturnally colored nubuck a layer below. Far cooler, steelier hues pace the sole unit for some off-tone contrast.
