Mamba Day is here, and Nike is celebrating with another chance at some of the past year’s most coveted Kobe releases.
Observed annually on August 24th, Mamba Day has become a celebration of Kobe Bryant’s life and legacy, following his birthday on August 23rd. In recent years, Nike has marked the occasion with special Kobe releases, restocks, and other activations surrounding the Black Mamba.
For 2026, sneakerheads will have another shot at several recently released Kobe Protros on SNKRS. The lineup includes the Jalen Brunson x Kobe 5 Protro “NY vs. NY,” Caitlin Clark x Kobe 6 Protro, and several other releases from the past year.
The restock is expected to take place at exactly 8:24 AM PT (11:24 AM PT), an obvious nod to the two jersey numbers—8 and 24—that defined Kobe’s legendary career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
As always with Kobe restocks, expect demand to be high and quantities to move quickly. Check SNKRS at 8:24 AM PT today, August 24th, for your shot at the returning Kobe releases.
