In 2026, every brand worth their salt has a stable of celebrity endorsers across categories far and wide. Yet adidas took the time in 2025 to bring together all of their most notable sponsees, enlisting everyone from Samuel L. Jackson to Jennie to spotlight the adidas Superstar. In doing so, they also utilized Kendall Jenner, brought back into the fold following a stint under their umbrella in 2017, for her first major adidas ad spot.
It’s an open secret that adidas is turning their attention from the shell toe to the Stan Smith, and if early leaks are to be trusted, the first Kendall Jenner x adidas collab is very much in line with that new priority. Initial images of the Kendall Jenner x adidas Stan Smith Ballet have come to light, draped in a dusky purple colorway that toggles between the Trefoil and a KJ stamp on the interior.
While any speculation on what this shoe will look like beyond these angles would be, well, speculative, the Stan Smith Lo Ballet has already hit the mainline. Chopping down the middle of the iconic tennis shoe, a midfoot strap and a reduced sole height make the retrofitted silhouette lookbook-ready. Adding the supermodel’s name and design touch should only add fuel to the fire; several general release colorways are all but sold out on adidas.com.
