Kobe Brand continues to make the Nike Air Force 1 its own through colorways rooted in Mamba lore, checking off myriad styles since the series kicked off in earnest a few seasons back. Here we have an all-new “Purple Stardust” colorway set to accompany an upcoming Protro release, the Kobe AD Protro “Purple Stardust” from 2017 landing alongside the AF1 and a matching Offcourt Slide.

Official retailer images show a black snakeskin-inspired leather foundation, the titular Purple Stardust color appearing on the interior, outsole, Mamba sheaths, and heel numbering. The hoops shoe connection is what will make this release more noteworthy than most.

The Nike Kobe AD, standing for Anno Domini, was Kobe Bryant’s first post-retirement signature shoe, originally released in 2016 at $140, a notably more accessible price point than other Kobe models on offer at the time. The Protro version will become the youngest Kobe shoe to enter the updated tech line when it arrives, the Kobe AD debuting just two years before the Protro era itself began.

Official retailer images of the Kobe Bryant Nike Air Force 1 “Purple Stardust” are embedded below. The AF1, Offcourt Slide, and Kobe AD Protro are all due out Fall 2026 via Nike and select retailers.
