Some of the pre-order product that the Swoosh teed up around the Knicks championship is finally touching down, with the mismatch blue/orange Nike Air Force ’01 now making repeat appearances on social media. Since the midpoint of this year, ‘Bocker-approved footwear has added to what’s already a healthy slate of NYC exclusives; did we just spot another one early in the Nike Air Force 1 “NYC Triple White?”
Perhaps the team coloring is absent from this version, but this colorway on the ’07 build makes its greatest impact with the Nike NYC stamps, connecting to a bygone era of Forces and keeping the Big Apple at the heart of its design. Even in lean years for the AF1, Gotham and its residents have stuck faithfully by the “Uptown,” particularly in this pristine palette, so it only makes sense to make the ties between city and silhouette concrete here. Beyond any Knicks fare, this also connects to the “Rat Pack” Air Force 1 series in what’s been a widespread celebration of the Greatest City on Earth.
This “NYC” Nike Air Force 1 shown here should be dropping before the end of the year, but whether this is another in-store exclusive or will see a wide launch is currently unknown. We can confirm a $130 retail price. Catch in-hand images below.
