The living highlight reel has lived up to his reputation at every turn, becoming every bit the star the Minnesota Timberwolves and adidas believed he could be. The impending launch of the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 is what gives us reason to wax poetic on Ant’s star power, his third signature shoe releasing September 15th in a “Blue Bliss” colorway aptly dubbed “Cold Blooded.” Official images now confirm what to expect.

Much like the past few Ja Morant shoes, Anthony Edwards’ signature line has been designed to look every bit as aggressive as its namesake plays. On the AE3, that ethos takes shape through a series of jagged TPU arrows along the sidewalls, giving the silhouette an immediate sense of movement and speed even at a standstill.

The “Cold Blooded” launch colorway does an excellent job of emphasizing that defining feature, draping the shoe in a “Blue Bliss” gradient that carries seamlessly into the outsole. The tongue, lining, and heel clip follow suit in the same icy blue hue, joined by a white mesh base and reflective toe overlay.
