Nike Sportswear and One Piece are connecting for an entire collection for Fall 2026. The two will come together to launch the One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus pack. Included are three Air Max Plus releases, which will debut alongside matching apparel. Furthermore, each pair will be inspired by Devil Fruit, including Gomu Gomu, Mera Mera, and Ope Ope.
Devil Fruits in One Piece are mystical, rare fruits that give the eaters unique powers. As for the three fruits, Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit) is eaten by Monkey D. Luffy, turning his body into rubber and granting him the ability to stretch infinitely and immunity to blunt force and electricity. Portgas D. Ace previously ate Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit), which is now wielded by Sabo, allowing fiery attacks like Fire Fist and flight. Lastly, Ope Ope (Op-Op Fruit), eaten by Trafalgar D. Water Law, lets its user create a spherical “Room” where they can surgically manipulate anything inside, granting abilities like swapping locations, disassembling people without harm, and even granting eternal youth at the cost of the user’s life.
As mentioned, three colorways of the Nike Air Max Plus will be released. Although images have not leaked yet, we have specific colorways for each pair that correspond to different Devil Fruits. The Gomu Gomu pair is dressed in Space Purple, Atomic Green, Purple Venom, Altitude Green, Light Lemon Twist, and Sport Red. Mera Mera features a Brilliant Orange, Healing Jade, Kumquat, Vibrant Yellow, Solar Flare, and Enamel Green color combination. Lastly, we have Ope Ope, dressed in Very Berry, Green Quartz, Sport Red, Jade Aura, and Fortress Green.
Alongside the footwear, One Piece and Nike will also launch a matching apparel collection. This lineup will include jerseys, t-shirts, and hats inspired by the Devil Fruits.

One Piece Nike Air Max Plus Devil Fruits Release Date
The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus “Devil Fruits” Collection will be released first at a pop-up in Tokyo on September 4, followed by additional events in cities around the world throughout September.
The Gomu Gomu colorway will be offered through a SNKRS voting process running from August 23 to September 18. Users selected through the poll will receive notification on September 18 and can then enter for a pre-order opportunity on September 25. China, Mexico, and Australia will have a traditional release, while customers in Korea will receive exclusive access on September 25.
The Mera Mera edition will arrive through select retailers across Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Mexico starting September 12.
As for the Ope Ope, this pair will not be released on SNKRS. Instead, Nike will make it available through pop-up events and select retailers in the United States and Europe on September 19. The rollout will include cities such as Dallas, San Diego, Washington, DC, London, Milan, Madrid, Amsterdam, and Stockholm.
The complete One Piece x Nike Collection is scheduled to launch globally through SNKRS on September 25. All three Air Max Plus colorways will retail for $180.

I know that One Piece is a popular anime. However, I have never watched the series. Not knowing much about it, this Air Max Plus collection seems pretty cool, especially since the Devil Fruits inspire it. As you can tell, each pair of sneakers is inspired by the colors of the Devil Fruit. I am sure fans will enjoy the collection.
