Satoshi Nakamoto has confirmed that his next Vans Era collaboration will release exclusively at ComplexCon 2026 this upcoming weekend, bringing back the heavily accessorized aesthetic that helped fuel Vans’ recent resurgence.
The distressed blue colorway first surfaced back in May, but its release details remained unclear as they were leaked without any context. Nakamoto has now confirmed the collaborative Era for ComplexCon, giving attendees first access to the latest chapter of his partnership with Vans. A wider release hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The shoe features a worn-in blue upper decorated with pearls, jewels, and other embellishments, continuing the maximalist approach that made Nakamoto’s previous Vans work so recognizable. Bold SATOSHI NAKAMOTO branding across the midsole leaves little doubt about who is behind the design.
The release arrives after Nakamoto helped generate significant momentum for Vans over the last two years. His first Old Skool collaboration became one of the brand’s most sought-after releases in recent memory, while its heavy use of jewelry and decorative accessories appears to have influenced Vans’ wider product direction.
