Collaborations are cool and all, but real New Balance heads don’t need a Kith, JJJJound, or even Teddy Santis’ stamp of approval when it comes to what makes a hot style. The Boston brand’s general release pipeline holds up just fine, as evidenced here with a compelling new take on the fan-favorite 990v4.
Already the recipient of three Fall/Winter 2026 styles curated by New Balance Made in USA head Teddy Santis, the 990v4 here cleans up in a minty fresh colorway with contrasting black accents. The suede overlays all appear in Silver Moss, while Bright Mint holds down the mesh foundation and “N” logos on both sides. Black hits on the underlays, lining, and full length of the midsole do well to add contrast and some street sensibility. Might be a bit too dentist-y otherwise.
