The Nike Mind 002 Contemplates “Palest Purple”

Take a look at Nike’s most recent “great leaps forward” to see how tough it can be to predict what truly catches on with the consumer. The Nike Alphafly 4 has introduced a brand-new foam compound with ZoomX LT, the Nike ACG line continues to champion GOATEK traction, yet it’s a slide that’s been their most well-received innovation.

Of course, the Nike Mind platform applies to both that aforementioned slip-on, the Mind 001, and its sneaker counterpart, the Mind 002. Much as we’ve prognosticated about either silhouette going the way of the ReactX Rejuven8, once a model that instantly sold out as soon as it came available, it remains incredibly tough to get your hands on both at retail. All the Swoosh can do is continue to pump out fresh colorways and stock; the Mind 002 “Palest Purple” fulfills that once again. Painted on the “default” build versus the Flyknit retake, it’s a simplistic two-tone affair; the titular delicate tonality coats the upper and the pods underfoot, while leaving “Summit White” on the sole unit and some of the trim.

The Nike Mind 002 “Palest Purple” should be hitting shelves in short order, commanding its usual $145 retail price in women’s sizing.
