Mashups and hybrids are all the rage now, as the Nike Cryoshot series, Foamposite crossovers, Atellier luxe reduxes, or the continuing “RestoMod’ series for Jordan classics could demonstrate.
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard of a new off-shoot take on the Jordan 1 DNA (though the Jordan Mule and Method of Make series are among a deep, deep roster of just those sort of products). That’s not stopping it from carrying the same shuffled energy into colorways, however. Almost echoing the “NC” to Chi, this general release Air Jordan 1 Low wears two doses of classic Jumpman DNA, obviously spilling “Royal” overtones through much of its nubuck upper but finding space for Chicago-style red and white at the heel.
The Air Jordan 1 Low should be dropping soon in men’s sizing, retailing for $160.
