Jordan Brand’s 2027 retro lineup will bring back another mid-2000s favorite with the return of the Air Jordan 4 “Black Laser” edition. Originally released in August 2005, the colorway is expected to make its first comeback in February 2027.
The “Black Laser” was one of two Air Jordan 4 “Laser” releases from 2005, joining the more widely remembered “White Laser” pair. Unlike the white version, this black-based release did not include the matching apparel pack, helping lower its original retail price to $175.
Black leather covers the upper and features the all-over laser print that defined the original release. Red accents appear on the Jumpman branding, inner lining, and inside tongue area, while grey hits land on the heel tab and midsole.
Jordan Brand has not confirmed the full color blocking yet, but the 2027 pair is currently listed in a Black and Multi-Color color scheme. Early expectations point to a faithful return, keeping the original’s black, red, and grey layout intact.

The Air Jordan 4 “Black Laser” is currently expected to release in February 2027 through Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Retail pricing has not been announced yet.
