We’ve heard rumors for years, and now they’re finally materializing. The Air Jordan 4 “Laser” pack, originally released in 2005 for the Air Jordan line’s 20th anniversary, is expected to make a proper return in February 2027.
The “Laser” pack was very much a product of its era, a limited post-retirement drop built around intricate laser-etched uppers that echoed the debut of the Air Jordan 20. The “White Laser” borrows “Fire Red” color blocking, swapping in leather wing flaps and a slightly crystallized red TPU finish on the eyestays and heel Jumpman. The “Black Laser,” meanwhile, doesn’t mirror an OG in the same way, instead featuring an all-black base with light green eyestays, red hits on the laces, lining, and heel branding, plus grey across the backtab and midsole.
Jordan Brand has teased us with a handful of “Laser” AJ4s since, including 2015’s Air Jordan 4 “Laser – 30th Anniversary” and 2019’s “Black/Gum” edition. No images of the 2027 pack have surfaced yet, but early word suggests a faithful retro is on deck.
Per zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 4 “Laser” pack is expected in February 2027. Scroll through detailed shots of the 2005 pairs below for a refresher.
