Nike Basketball’s investment in the next generation continues with a special Kobe 3 Low Protro made for the Chinese High School Basketball League. The “CHBL” colorway appears to be tied to Nike’s sponsored youth basketball program in China, giving the league its own Kobe-branded design after several recent Nike Basketball exclusives.
Icy blue tones cover the molded cage and mesh base, creating a jade-like finish that stands out across the low-cut build. White leather lands on the toe cap and heel overlay, adding clean contrast while keeping the colorway bright and court-ready.
Gold details give the pair a more polished feel, appearing on the Kobe sheath logo, lace charm, and heel Swoosh. The mix of mint blue, white, and metallic gold gives the shoe a premium look without moving away from its performance roots.
CHBL branding appears on the insoles alongside Kobe details, further connecting the pair to the Chinese High School Basketball League. One insole features the league logo, while the other includes “Touch The Line” with the Kobe sheath mark.
The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “CHBL” is not expected to release and will likely remain exclusive to the CHBL program, though an Asia-exclusive launch remains possible.
