Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe continues to move beyond basketball, this time stepping onto the football field. The adidas AE 1 Low Cleat reworks one of adidas Basketball’s most popular new models into a gridiron-ready spike built around Edwards’ bold energy and crossover appeal.
The football version keeps the recognizable shape of the AE 1 Low while replacing the hardwood setup with cleated traction. Its molded side cage, low-cut build, and athletic profile carry over from the court model, giving the cleat a familiar look with a new performance purpose.
Three colorways will be available at launch, each pulling from past AE 1 styles. The lineup includes a white and black pair, a red and black edition, and a full Timberwolves-inspired blue colorway with small green hits on the branding. Together, the trio gives football players different options while still tying back to Edwards’ signature sneaker story.
The release also arrives as Edwards continues to build his reputation as one of adidas’ biggest stars. His on-court toughness, explosive play, and growing influence have helped make the AE 1 line one of the brand’s strongest recent signature launches.
The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low Cleats release May 7, 2026 through adidas.com and select retailers. The cleats will be available in men’s sizing for $160 USD.
