The goal of a good logo is to be recognizable instantly from a distance. It’s for that reason that Nike, Inc. and Jordan Brand spent so much of their history closely guarding over the Swoosh and other associated emblems. Yet be it due to the success of Travis Scott and his Reverse Swoosh or simply recognizing that their line of iconic designs has already done the groundwork, that iron grip has eased in recent years.
Are we claiming that the mini Swoosh featured on the Air Jordan 1 Low “Child Red” is the most experimental thing we’ve seen out of the Jumpman in recent years? Certainly not, but it does make for a decent enough time to note that style guide shift. For the shoe at hand, beyond that miniaturized branding note towards the toe, this “SE” variation is rather straightforward overall; fiery leather overlays meet grayish white on the foundation and sole unit, briefly interrupted by black logos in the spaces between.
Expect this Air Jordan 1 Low “Chile Red” to touch down sometime in the coming weeks, retailing for $130 upon arrival. Keep our Jordan Release Dates page within reach for more info on this pair and all the Jumpman has coming down the pike.
