Foot Locker is strengthening its basketball identity with “Hoops Lives Here,” a new year-round platform built around the game’s impact on sneakers, culture, and daily life. The campaign positions Foot Locker as more than a retail stop, showing how basketball energy continues beyond the court.
“Hoops Lives Here” focuses on the everyday connection fans have with the sport. Basketball shows up through style, routine, competition, and community, which gives the campaign a wider lifestyle angle. Foot Locker uses that idea to frame its stores as a home base for hoops culture.
The campaign launches with a 30-second spot starring Payton Pritchard, Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, and Jewell Loyd. Each athlete appears inside a Foot Locker store as if they actually live there. Pritchard eats takeout while watching TV, Banchero makes a smoothie near the register, Holmgren gets ready for a tunnel walk, and Loyd relaxes in bed on the sales floor.
A Foot Locker Striper ties each scene together, helping connect the athletes, products, and store experience. The message is clear: these players are not just attached to basketball footwear, they represent the culture Foot Locker wants to own.
Foot Locker will support “Hoops Lives Here” through a full campaign across broadcast, social media, digital platforms, out-of-home placements, and in-store activations. The rollout will also include athlete-led storytelling and limited-time gift-with-purchase moments in select key markets.
