Nike Victory Elite Track Spikes “Faith Kipyegon” HQ8101-100

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Faith Kipyegon’s pursuit of a sub-four-minute mile helped shape one of Nike’s most advanced track spikes yet. The Nike Victory Elite “Faith Kipyegon” was built with speed, weight reduction, and energy return at the center of its design.

Nike created the spike as part of Kipyegon’s historic mile attempt, where the brand also developed custom performance gear to help maximize her efficiency. Although she missed the mark by six seconds, the project produced a race-day spike that now gets a wider retail release.

The Nike Zoom Victory Elite features a ZoomX midsole paired with a taller Air Zoom unit than the standard Victory 2. That setup is designed to return more energy with each stride. A carbon fiber Flyplate adds a propulsive feel, while six embedded titanium spikes help cut weight and improve traction without using traditional screw-in pins.

A lightweight Flyknit upper keeps the fit secure while staying as minimal as possible. The design also pulls from Kipyegon’s signature colorway, complete with a Goddess of Victory graphic underfoot.

Although the spike’s stack height meets World Athletics standards, Nike did not submit this version for official competition approval. Still, the model has been cleared for use across track events, even including race walking.

The Nike Victory Elite Track Spikes “Faith Kipyegon” released May 15, 2026, through select retailers like Running Warehouse. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price tag is set at $400 USD.
