The hope when the Cavaliers traded All-Star Darius Garland for James Harden was that the Beard would help surpass the second-round ceiling that Cleveland had run into every
year of the Donovan Mitchell era. By hook or by crook, that vision has been realized, yet no doubt The Land is aiming at an even higher goal. The road to the NBA Finals and a shot at the Larry O’Brien trophy now runs through New York, but there’s a day or so before the team has to take to the hardwood once again.

For the win-or-go-home matchup, James Harden continued a streak of flexing exclusive and upcoming fare like the Jalen Williams colorway, a Cavs-adjacent LSU pair, and the Harden Vol. 10 “Pink Lemonade.” A soon-to-be public edition was on the perennial All-Star’s feet in Detroit, the Harden Vol. 10 “Clear Cyan,” one immediately visible whether you saw the action on national TV or from the nosebleeds.
Part of that comes from a glossy exterior shell, reflecting light to create a truly icy atmosphere. In similar fashion to that aforementioned Mother’s Day edition, much of this shoe’s real estate is concentrated on its primary color, but patches of black in the traction and branching up the midsole prevent this from being entirely one-note.
