Nike is bringing its FC series back into the Air Max conversation with a new Nike Air Max 95 “FC” dressed in Obsidian, Challenge Red, White, Black, and Metallic Gold. The pair is currently set to release June 4, 2026 with grade school sizing priced at $157. Adult pairs are also expected to launch via Nike.com.
A stitched Nike FC badge on the tongue gives the shoe its soccer connection right away. White mesh fills the upper, keeping some of the Air Max 95’s familiar summer feel, while Obsidian leather wraps the toe, mudguard, and wavy side panels. Challenge Red does most of the heavy lifting visually, running through the side stripe, heel, outsole hits, and the visible Air units.
The textured leather changes the feel of this pair a bit. It gives the layered upper more depth than a standard mesh-and-suede build, especially with the navy and black panels sitting against the brighter red striping. White laces and navy lace loops keep the top half balanced, while the small Metallic Gold Swooshes near the heel add a quieter contrast.
Nike also works the FC theme into the outsole, where red traction sections surround a midfoot window stamped with Nike FC branding. The back view keeps the same story going with red heel panels, Nike Air branding, and another gold Swoosh placed along the lateral side.
The Nike Air Max 95 “FC” doesn’t move too far away from the model’s usual shape, which helps the soccer-inspired details feel more wearable. With Obsidian leather, Challenge Red accents, and just enough Nike FC branding, this colorway gives the classic runner a sharper sportswear edge for Summer 2026.
