New Balance is pushing the 2000 into summer with three new colorways already appearing through select European retailers. A U.S. release has not been officially confirmed yet, though pairs are expected to arrive stateside soon at $170 each.
The lineup gives the model a few different lanes without stretching it too far. The all-white pair keeps the shoe in classic sportstyle territory, letting the layered panels, molded shape, and visible tech details carry the look.
Silver and teal move the New Balance 2000 closer to the Y2K runner space that continues to work for the brand. The chrome-like hits add some shine, while the teal accents give the pair enough color to separate it from a standard metallic release.
Black and hot pink change the mood completely. The darker base gives the shoe more edge, and the pink trim brings in that neon-accented runner feel New Balance fans have seen on past sportstyle drops.
The New Balance 2000 is still a newer piece in the brand’s lifestyle mix, but this trio helps show its range early. With pairs already overseas, the U.S. launch should be the next update to watch.
