A black, white, and gum colorway is joining the Code 58 lineup for Summer 2026. The Nike SB Code 58 “Black Gum” is expected to release through Nike.com and select retailers for $90.
Black suede covers the toe box, forefoot overlays, eyestays, and heel, giving the shoe a tougher feel in the spots skaters usually wear down first. The quarter panels and tongue switch to ballistic mesh, which adds a little texture and keeps the upper from looking too flat.
White leather Swooshes are the main break from the dark upper. Nike SB branding also appears in white on the tongue labels, heels, and insoles, while the laces, lining, collar, and midsole all stay black.
The shape has a bit of early-2000s skate DNA, especially with the padded tongue and layered build. Nike SB does not push it into full chunky skate-shoe territory, though. The low cut and slimmer cupsole keep it closer to an everyday pair that still looks built for the board.
A gum outsole finishes the shoe and gives it the strongest contrast. Underneath, two circular traction zones handle grip and board feel, adding a functional detail to an otherwise simple colorway.
The Nike SB Code 58 “Black Gum” is not a loud release, and it does not need to be. It is a black suede Nike SB with white branding, gum bottoms, and a $90 price, which puts it in a practical lane for Summer 2026.
