Nearly two years after the official debut of the Book 1 signature shoe, Devin Booker and Nike are ready to unveil the long-awaited second chapter of the young and celebrated series. The Nike Book 2 hasn’t been revealed yet, but @nikebasketball on Instagram has dropped a first teaser, signaling a first-look and a likely on-court debut coming very soon.
Earlier this summer, Booker hit up one of Chris Brickley’s workouts and wore a pair of mysterious sneakers that were obscured. This led many to believe that he was wear-testing the Book 2 shoes. Early leaks also suggested a design that was inspired by the Zoom Spiridon, a sneaker that shares the same birth year as the Phoenix Suns superstar.
Lately, Booker has been going hard with the Player Exclusives of the Nike Book 1. This season alone saw two different versions of the “What The” Book, an insane Converse Chuck Taylor Book 1, and one for the car guys via the Chevy Impala SS-inspired “Dark Cherry Metallic”. Alongside those spirited PE designs by Booker’s camp, Nike dropped an onslaught of laudable colorways and even a collaboration with Chevrolet.
