Rather than chasing hype, the collaboration leans into familiarity, reinforcing a partnership that predates Parra’s more public Nike work.
The OTW Old Skool 36 becomes a canvas for Parra’s unmistakable visual language. Wavy suede overlays replace the traditional SideStripe, creating movement across the upper. Deep teal blues meet saturated pinks and burnt orange accents, echoing palettes Parra has revisited throughout his art and footwear history.
This approach recalls earlier Parra Vans releases, especially his Half Cab projects, where color carried the narrative instead of overt branding.
