With the record-setting CBA agreement, surpassing 2025’s maximum contracts with 2026’s minimum contracts, and the Houston Comets returning into the fold, the “we stand on the shoulders of giants” concept has never been more in focus for the WNBA. Indeed, the women’s game wouldn’t be in the shimmering place it’s in today without the league’s forebears, something Nike is set to celebrate with a WNBA 30th Anniversary collection.
Following in-hand teaser shots of the GT Cut 4 “WNBA 30th Anniversary,” an identically themed Nike Air Force 1 Low is coming to light. While pinning that theme on the modern hoops shoe is still fitting given its adoption by stars like Paige Bueckers, the Uptown is equally up to the challenge, having served in comparable fashion with various “All-Star” editions. Blue piping and red leather edges nod to the original W logo, while an iridescent badge on the heel stamps the ultimate purpose. An off-white leather foundation with debossed Nike Air branding rounds out this proud edition.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “WNBA 30th Anniversary” releases on April 24th, retailing for $125. We’ll surely be covering any additional members of this set, but to ensure you don’t miss out on any inclusions, keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach.
