The Nike Tennis Classic Stays In Focus With A Nike SB Collaboration

There’s enough evidence to call it: the Nike Tennis Classic, originally popularized on the court in the 1980s, appears to be getting a major push as we head into summer. We’ve already gotten multiple premium styles as well as a rather large social media campaign featuring some of the Swoosh’s hottest tennis stars, and there’s even more to come.

Here we have the return of the skateable Nike SB Tennis Classic, last seen in the mid-2000s via a collaboration with Supreme. This 2026 release is a collab with Paris-based skateboarding company Rassvet, founded by pro skater Tolya Titaev in partnership with Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market Paris.

Official images show a mostly black leather upper that subtly fades into Blue Void toward the rear, where debossed Rassvet logos appear in the same region. The theme comes into focus via capitalized “Dawn” text on the inside of the tongue, a likely nod to Rassvet’s sun-ray logo. A Sail leather Swoosh lands on the lateral side, while the medial Swoosh appears as a stitched outline. An exposed foam tongue, pre-distressed midsole, and gradient insoles cap off the main design touches, joined by a metal Rassvet logo hangtag and four different lace sets.

The Rassvet x Nike SB Tennis Classic “Dawn” doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but a Summer 2026 launch seems likely. See official images below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page handy for all the latest.
