The Nike Moon Shoe sees a cleaner take on women’s silhouettes with its Summer 2026 release. Slated to arrive in “Malachite”, the retro shoe will retail for $105 USD on Nike.com and select retail partners.
The green color swatches across the fabric upper, poping the shoe without distracting from what makes the silhouette feel nostalgic. The design of the upper stays true to Nike’s simple approach with the shoe. It’s not over-complicated by bold branding or unique shapes. Instead, patches of suede on the lateral side panels provide definition to the rest of the breathable build. Nike opted for a vibrant color way, but doesn’t overwhelm the shoe with prints.
Nike keeps the rest of the silhouette pretty muted. White is the main color used to contrast the green canvas, highlighted by the traditional Swoosh along the heel that cuts over the tongue. Other than that small bit of contrast, the shoe remains dedicated to the Moon Shoe’s retro style of a running shoe.
True to form, a tan gum waffle outsole caps off the shoe with timeless Nike flair. It also helps dress down the brighter upper just enough to complete the look.
