“Georgia Red Clay” Returns On The adidas Anthony Edwards 2

Anthony Edwards’ budding adidas line has done a fine job incorporating references from Ant’s home state onto footwear: his alma mater, his youth football team, the many murals that line Atlanta, and for our purposes, the topography. This upcoming adidas Anthony Edwards 2 carries over a theme from an early AE1 colorway with a coral makeup reminiscent of Georgia’s famous red soil, set to drop June 2026.

You might remember the AE1 “Georgia Red Clay” from the insane poster dunk Ant had on John Collins back in 2024, still one of the more impressive athletic feats of the young guard’s career. The Anthony Edwards 2 here sports a near-identical makeup, taken with salmon-colored TPU “fangs” and a slightly more saturated pink shade everywhere else. The palette matches that of Georgia’s famous red soil, a result of long-term weathering that leaves behind iron oxides.
