The loafer wave knows no bounds, apparently. On top of myriad sneaker-loafer hybrids and the ongoing rise of the formal genre itself, Nike is doing some indirect trend-hopping with a loafer-inspired take on its most popular lifestyle silhouette.
Official images reveal a pebbled black leather Air Force 1 Low featuring a silver loafer buckle-inspired accent at the base of the laces. The accent is not a lace dubrae, but rather a new piece attached by additional fabric loops. The rest of the design is self-explanatory, though chrome branding on the tongue and backtab add to the loafer-inspired theme.
No concrete release date has been announced yet, but a Summer or Fall 2026 drop seems likely. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
In other Nike news, Jason Kidd’s Nike Zoom Flight 5 is returning in 2027.
