The upcoming Levi’s Nike Air Max 95 collaboration is shaping up to be a future classic. As was true for the denim brand’s Jordan 4 capsule in 2018, any time two iconic names join forces, it’s bound to be a huge affair. As we approach the collaboration’s mid-July release, images of a friends & family pair have begun circulating online.
Unveiled here by Leo Gamboa, who manages all of Levi’s collaborations, the friend & family Levi’s 95s feature a dark, almost selvedge-like blue denim upper. While all three public colorways are essentially monochrome, the F&F pair stands out with a red/yellow tongue logo and red Air bubbles. The real highlight is custom insoles featuring vintage Levi’s ads, taken in red, yellow, and blue to match the accent touches.
To state the obvious, this particular Levi’s Air Max 95 is for friends & family only and will not see a public release. Levi’s and Nike have three colorways on tap for July 11th (black, blue, and white), all of which retail for $205.
