Official images of Donovan Mitchell’s adidas DON Issue 8 “Silver Spida” have surfaced, offering a closer look at the pair after Mitchell already wore it on court. The release is currently set for Summer 2026, with men’s sizing priced at $120 USD through adidas and select retailers.
The “Silver Spida” name ties straight back to Mitchell’s long-running nickname. White covers most of the upper, while the midfoot brings in web-style mesh paneling that gives the shoe its main visual hook. Neon green piping cuts around the padded ankle collar and continues onto the sockliner, inner shank, and heel Three Stripes.
Purple is worked in more quietly, showing up on the midfoot support, tongue tag, heel branding, and adidas logo. Silver details handle the sharper performance side of the design, landing on the toe, Lightstrike Pro midsole, midfoot shank, and heel counter.
Mitchell’s signature line has always had room for louder storytelling, and this pair keeps that approach connected to the player instead of forcing a random theme. The web paneling does the heavy lifting, while the white, neon green, purple, and silver mix gives the DON Issue 8 enough color without burying the shape of the shoe.
