Air Jordan 4 “Georgetown” 2027 Release Date

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Michael Jordan’s history with Georgetown goes back to one of the biggest shots of his life. In the 1982 NCAA Championship, a freshman MJ hit the jumper that helped North Carolina beat the Hoyas, a moment he has often pointed to as the start of his basketball legacy.

Decades later, that connection has flipped in a different way. Georgetown is now a Jordan Brand school, even though MJ wore Converse when he made that famous shot against them. The Hoyas have also received exclusive Air Jordan 4 PEs in the past, but the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Georgetown” gives the public a chance to own a pair inspired by the program.

This Air Jordan 4 continues Jordan Brand’s run of Georgetown-inspired releases, following pairs like the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 and the more recent Air Jordan 6.

Mock-ups from Sneaker Files and @zsneakerheadz show the pair with a Pewter Grey nubuck upper and College Navy sitting behind the netting. The colorway nods to the Georgetown Hoyas, but it is not expected to feature official school branding. Nike Air appears on the heel, while a Jumpman logo lands on the tongue. White breaks up the darker upper on the midsole, with a Navy rubber outsole finishing the look.
