There are plenty of people who still see the ’90s and early 2000s as the best era for hip-hop and fashion. Jordan Brand appears to be tapping into that nostalgia with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Musik”, currently expected to release in January 2027.
The pair takes inspiration from that period with a bolder, fashion-driven look on Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe. It leans into the late-’90s and early-2000s aesthetic shaped by oversized fits, diamond grills, and heavy gold chains, all without moving too far from the Air Jordan 4s original shape.
Mock-ups from Sneaker Files and @zsneakerheadz show the shoe with a Khaki upper, serrated edges, Black detailing, and Gold hits on the Jumpman and translucent wing eyelets. The heels feature roman numerals “II” and “III” as a nod to 23, while studs on the upper heel add to the throwback fashion influence.
