The Air Force 1 Low is getting yet another dark makeover with this “Anthracite” release, slated for Summer 2026 via Nike.com and select stores at $125.
The use of Anthracite and Medium Ash on the upper results in a washed charcoal look. It almost dips into black but still has enough texture to stand out on its own. Metallic Silver AF1 lace dubrae is the only element that really pops on this shoe. It’s a minor detail but it helps offset all of the darker tones.
Texture comes into play big time with this pair. Instead of full leather, the overlays, eyestays, heel, and Swoosh are made of canvas-like textile. Meanwhile, suede or nubuck material can be found on panels across the toe box and sides of the shoe. These details help add dimension to the shoe while keeping the overall aesthetic subtle.
Nike Air branding is thrown on tonally throughout the shoe on the tongue, heel, and insoles. Everything else is true to form with a black midsole and rubber outsole. There’s just enough extra detail on the surface of this shoe to make it feel new but it still functions as your everyday Air Force 1.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Denim “Anthracite” doesn’t stray too far from the formula. Dark tones, mixed materials, and one silver accent let this sneaker stand out without over stepping into AF1 territory.
